I just love how every question is met with a shrug and then some lame one word answers… Q: “What's some of the spending you'd like to see cut?”, A: “All of it”

Seriously, the single biggest problem we have as a nation is on display right here: Ignorant jackasses who think that because they have the right to an opinion, there's nothing wrong with staying ignorant and guessing—or worse yet, with blindly repeating some unexamined BS picked up from the radio, TV, or that guy who's always standing on the corner hollering and foaming at the mouth. These people don't even know how to examine an argument, let alone construct one of their own with solid evidence. And yet here they are, voicing opinions that they don't understand, and clinging to those opinions so fervently that many of them are willing to commit violent acts if they don't get their way—despite the fact that at base, they don't even know why they're supposed to be pissed off. It's comical to watch them make fools of themselves, but make no mistake: These aren't just mindless conservative buffoons. They are, collectively, a menace to real freedom and responsibility far more dangerous than any other we currently face. Neither democracies nor republics can withstand indefinitely the destructive force of an ignorant, unexamined, uneducated populace.

This guy was my favorite, he had so much to talk through: A southern twang,
a thuggish repose,
and a very prominent lisp. He sounded like three stereotypes were fighting each other for control of his mouth. - Bree thinks Sarah Palin Book Signing Interviews is OMG & LOL

Yeah good job. These people aren't politicians, they're Americans. Put any American on the spot like that and you're sure to get a stupid answer.

now, to be fair, there was a video circulating over a year ago that did close to the same thing with obama supporters. i mean, i'm not defending palin or her crazy supporters, but… just saying.

I think the lady at the end coined Palin's 2012 campaign slogan: “Speakin' up for reality.”
-
The lady at 5:25 reminds me of Fred Armisen's political comedian character on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update. “If if if if I… I mean… look… if WE… if all of us… let's say I had two apples… I… I… okay, you can't just…people will never…”

“When you're right…you don't have to compromise.” Best.

I like this guy. He did that other video where he interviewed the teabaggers. He's asks entirely legitimate questions, none of which are gotchas. That very last bit when the guy says “this is what I really think is going on in America” is entirely true: this is what he, and the rest of the people at Palin's book signing believe, even if it is incorrect. They're fed misinformation every day, and they look to a charismatic person who reminds them of themselves to help them stop being afraid. But thankfully for the rest of the more informed populace, Palin and her supporters are a minority in this country. Informed people (conservative or liberal!) would never think of putting someone like Palin in office.

So if another politician says they speak for their people, does that mean that they don't know what they are talking about?

How dare the left wing gotcha media let those people say what's on their minds with their open ended questions and follow up questions. It's an outrage!

like wonkette said - How to make a Comedy Film: go to one of Sarah Palin’s book signings, walk near the front of the line (where they’ve been waiting for several hours), find the folks with the wackiest We Love Sarah-style t-shirts, preferably covered in stickers declaring even more support for Sarah Palin, introduce yourself to them, *make sure the camera is rolling,* and then ask basically any question.
