Repeating the impact about 20 times… it's a real good fake. I think someone hit in the head would move or put his hands to his face even for a second… also no blood.

Someone said confirmed, but I haven't seen any news regarding it. The link provided is obviously a semi-tabloid, as it says it reports “Strange News” and their top story is about Prince Harry's girlfriend. Anyone got any more info on this? I also think it looks staged, though it does appear that “Russia's Got Talent” is a real show.

@Andrew S. I agree, it was staged, ad or no - the apple balancing “problem” was silly considering they'd have practiced beforehand, the can logo is conspicuously turned toward the audience, and the camera work is a little too tidy to be believable. I call shenanigans!

We need us a “Fake” reaction button on buzzfeed. There's no way this could be real.

Now that I've watched it, I'm leaning towards the “viral ad for the energy drink” side. These shows aren't broadcast live, are they? Assuming they're not, I doubt this would have aired. Also, the fact that there was no close-up of the impact leads me to even more suspect fakery. No self-respecting producer (or is that director?) would miss the close-up. But in this case, it was done to lessen the gruesomeness and maximize its likelihood to get spread around. Finally, I doubt such recklessness would be allowed even in Russia. No matter what stereotypes might lead you to believe, Russia is not, in fact, a country full of lawless savages. That said, if it is real, then I feel really bad for laughing at it and dismissing it for being “fake.”
