To people that are saying congress shouldn't meddle in private companies affairs - he's not. He isn't pushing legislation or demanding legal action against the companies, he is simply making an appeal for them to rethink their actions and understand the consequences of bigotry throughout history and what it is doing to our reputation today. This is stupid that a congressman would be talking about and deriding a private corporation's choice about how to spend it's own advertising dollars. no matter what your opinion about it, government should have nothing to do with this ever. Let the free market decide Lowes future. if it pisses you off, don't shop there. that's it. this idiot is way overstepping his bounds.
If Lowes was spending money to actively block Muslims from worshiping, that would be a different story. Choosing not to spend advertising dollars on any particular show is not persecution.

Well said. It amazes me that a people that came here to escape religious persecution goes around persecuting others CONSTANTLY pretending to be the victim in the matter. This country… What has it become??
