Crappy (CRAPPY is too nice of a word) Lyrics aside, wow! I was giving her the benefit of the doubt, and placing the blame for the terrible sounds coming out of her mouth on the “auto tune”, turns out, that’s how she actually sings (no auto tune). Sorry, but I don’t think I’m a monster for giving her a reality check. It’s not wrong to tell someone that they are honestly terrible at singing and that they should, you know, find something else that they might actually be good at.

the thing about this girl and the song is…. she is a bad singer with all that autotune. the national anthem was almost decent. she is a bad singer but i have heard worse. the problem is…. the song itself. its so horribly written. its like a two year old monkey wrote it. but a two year old monkey could come up with better lyrics

I think shes great, I can’t stand how so many people hate on the songs lyrics then they go listen to any other pop song in the top 50 and love it. Seriously “Friday” is catchy as the lyrics suck but so does all pop music. Haters gunna hate.

I feel bad for her because she’s getting slammed for lyrics she didn’t make up. Yeah, her singing still sucks, even sans Auto-Tune, but lots of mainstream singers’ voices do. I don’t feel comfortable making mean-spirited fun of a girl who’s that young either. This isn’t Jessi Slaughter. Really, the people to lambaste are the producers and songwriters.

I think she has some talent.
