I see no reason why anyone should assume he's homeless. It's kind of creepy that that rat is so used to people that I would crawl up a persons leg if they weren't moving…

i have a feeling that he's only been labeled 'homeless' because he is black.
and the only reason the rat ran up his leg is because the idiot with the camera is chasing it around.

Yeah, why DO people assume that he's homeless? If he's homeless, he doesn't have any bags or personal possessions. I'd assume even the most zen and anti-materialist homeless people have at least sleeping bags.
