My local radio station did this too, but they gave the homeless guys 5 bucks afterward so everyone wins.

People need to understand that you cannot duplicate awesome.

A radio station here in Houston did something similar the other day, which I found even worse. They were basically laughing at homeless people and mocking them. Check it out:

You hit a real low with your ambush style exploitation of the homeless “Who is the next top homeless person.” You people are disgusting leeches . Why does everybody think this is so bad? Talking to some homeless people isn’t exploiting them. They will probably be better off since the news story, and it’s not like it’s going to make them worse off. You all manage to find the worst in things
