To me, this shows an interesting cultural difference: The U.S. and England are just so much more dress-code oriented. At my workplace here in Denmark (a trade union at that) noone would think that outfit odd on a very hot day. And frankly, who cares, if the person is doing a good job?

If I wore that to work I'd get a talking to, and I'm no mayor! This should be a non-issue. When you are on business you dress for it! No skirts more than 4 inches above the knee and no open backs! I don't believe it has anything to do with her being transgender. Don't use that as a scape goat for dressing like a hussy at work!
