Mariana Bridi da Costa
Talk about bad luck. The 20-year old Brazilian Miss World finalist is now without feet or hands. Mariana caught a horrible urinary tract infection, developed septicemia (meaning circulation to her arms and legs was cut off,) and eventually had to have both hands and feet amputated. She remains in critical condition. Mariana was a finalist in the 2006 and 2007 Brazilian Miss World search. She won best body at Miss Bikini International, in of all places, China.
