you know what? i am not a fan of her personally, but i do like a few of her songs and i like this one and i also kinda like the video too. i agree on what others have been saying in that, people are wasting too much of their time picking others apart. don’t like it? don’t watch it.

I actually think this is one of the few good songs on the new album, I like the simplicity of it as a love song and it actually feels like genuine writing, probably because it is actually about her on and off again boyfriend, “Nebraska.” The video though, It’s just too much. I get it if all the different costumes or interactions with the dude are supposed to be different facets of the relationship, but it was just too messy and unclear. Focus on like three, four of them at most. Cut the rest. Cut the dance section in the S and M gear. Stick with the stuff that actual has feeling. That’s what made Bad Romance and Paparazzi good videos.

It’s a nice song but goddamn that was like The Little Mermaid meets Field of Dreams meets Cloverfield…I guess it’s progress.

You know what? If you don’t like her, don’t listen to her songs. Don’t watch her videos. Don’t comment about how “cliche” and “stupid” she is. That’s precious moments of your life that add up to hours, which you could spend doing things that, I don’t know, you actually LIKE, instead of just bitching for the sake of bitching.  I’m a die hard Gaga fan, and I have to say I am in love with this video. Better than Born This Way, better than Judas, and (obviously) way better than The Edge of Glory. I’d dare to say it’s as good as Bad Romance, but that’s just heresy. Too bad this didn’t come out before the VMAs, otherwise she’d definitely win. She doesn’t always win Moonmen, but when she does, she wins them ALL.

She’s gotten so ‘bizarre’ that we are all used to it. If I saw her in normal everyday clothes then I would be shocked. Her next video should be of her shopping at The Gap.

It’s like watching a Matthew Barney art piece, only if Barney had no talent and did every “art film” cliche to make things seem weird. It also reminds me of Mark Romanek’s Closer video, only that one had an actual feel to it that matched the music. This is all around fail.

Dare I say Gaga has officially jumped the shark?

Man, she is running out of ideas, or exhausted all of the good ones. A mermaid in a barn, really?? What an incoherent mess!

It’s kind of sad that her teenybopper music doesn’t match up to the insanity of her videos and outfits, I think this and Bad Romance are great music videos, weird and visually stunning. If her music were half as good and weird as some of her music videos I would love her, but unfortunately her videos and outfits are meant to overcompensate for the mediocrity of her songs.

Trust me, Nebraksa is nothing like that.
