Okay so I just tried it.
To Cinnamon Boom, the pumpkin actually cooks into the milk very nicely, it almost “melts”. No need to puree any further than canned pumpkin already is.
It's good but it the future I will add more pumpkin. The pumpkin flavor wasn't strong enough for my liking. I would also let the milk get a little hotter. It's just warm enough when it starts steaming.

Will definitely try it…although I'm skeptical of the pumpkin, too.

I'm having a hard time believing that the canned pumpkin wouldn't lend a sort of chunky, stringy element, even after being pureed. I'm thinking, before the blender, put it through a fine-mesh strainer.

Or hit Dunkin donuts. It's easier.

This would taste amazing if you left out the pumpkin, spices, vanilla, sugar and milk.
