Thanks, news, for blowing this out of proportion! Nothing sells news viewership like fear, huh? Screw every “journalist” who ever used the term “blackout in a can” or “liquid cocaine”, and especially the ones who created them for the sake of their stories. Does anybody realize that in its natural state, i.e. sitting on a shelf in a can, the product is entirely harmless? That it’s well-labeled as having a high alcohol content? That it only is dangerous when people make a conscious choice to abuse it? Don’t outlaw things. Outlaw stupid people that abuse things.
