Seriously? You're going to pick a fight because of spaghetti? As much as I hate to see two young women resort to violence, I have to say I was rooting for them. Some middle aged women are *so* *rude* to younger girls it's disgusting. I've actually had one lady in a wealthy neighborhood *point and laugh at me for a good five minutes*- now having blue hair means that I do get more attention from it (good or bad) and I am prepared to deal with it, but for crying out loud that is no excuse to forget your manners entirely.

I can't watch any more of these public confrontation / fighting videos for a while. But I get the idea and I have to agree with some of the other posters regarding worse things on a subway. But anyway, the worst thing I think I've ever seen was the following: I was standing behind a woman who was seated reading the paper. She was also picking her nose with some seriously long nails. I was pretty much thinking that was bad, but hey as long as she was not bothering anyone who cares. But then she started picking and then flicking her nails together causing the picked material to be flung on the back of the jacket of the person sitting in front of her. She was totally oblivious and didn't even look up from her paper…I wanted to vomit

So she thinks it's rude to eat on the subway but it's okay to pick a fight with and then shove a teenager?

I'd rather smell food then some of the other foul smells that creep their way into subway cars. The white woman is incredibly lucky there were so many people willing to protect her. Rule of thumb is to avoid eye contact and keep your mouth shut.

That white lady asked for it. As long as it's not something stinky like fish or curry, then I don't care if you eat on a dirty subway. If you don't like it GET UP AND MOVE TO ANOTHER CART!!!

I once saw someone light a cigarette on the D.C. Metro, the reaction was similar, although no fight broke out thankfully.

But of course there is a whole repect issue here. Are ghetto teenagers not raised to act like civil humans in public?

Spaghetti isn't bad. I have issues with people eating horrible smelling things on the subway..like Golden Krust

Why wasn't she allowed to eat on the subway? I've seen worse reasons to be disgusted but that lady didn't need to have to express her disgust out loud. She could've just moved if she didn't like it.
