I had to look up statist. I have never heard that phrase. I think you might want to look it up as well Elwin, because the republican governor in WI is doing a statist idea. Taking away benefits from the people and convincing everyone else it is for their own good. A statist has to actually be in government, in power, to be able to push his government control. You understand he has not gotten rid of his state benefits package or that of the state senators? Is this a new Feux news term they are throwing around, or a Tea bagger Sarah Palin “blood libel” term?

Jessifizzle the Lemming 1) Failing to take even more money out of the private sector has nothing to do with spending orgies perpetrated by Statist politicians who were thrown out of office for wrecking their state’s books. Nice try, but economics really does have the last say in the real world. 2) Unions were not willing to talk about the issue at hand but demagogue…Walker called their bluff and their true colors have been shining through ever since. Pretty nasty too. 3) Outlawing the ability to unionize against taxpayers will solve the financial crisis in WI (and other states out of control like IL and CA who are teetering on the edge too) since its the state employee compensation plans (i.e. defined benefits, etc) that are bankrupting the state. The taxpayers were left holding the bag, but they ain’t gonna take it no mo’. I know you want to forget last November, but statists got creamed for dropping the fiscal ball…yes, it really did happen. And its pretty typical too: statists screw over the economy by attacking wealth creation and spending whatever wealth is left on illegitimate crap—like overpaying state employees while unemployment in the real world is crashing. It’s the liberals (the real ones—classical liberals) that have to come behind them, pick up the pieces and put our economy back together again.  capiche?

I’m surprised that the state/public unions have so much support. The DMV is part of the union and these protests and I thought everyone hates the DMV.

I guess we can’t blame this poor guy—he apparently never got any math classes—much like the vast majority of public screwel teachers in WI. Their pensions and sweetheart compensation deals are unsustainable and much higher than what the taxpayers get in their private jobs. Yet again, their ignorance and insolence makes the case for the right to choose where your kid is educated.

If only he supported the people dying in Libya and Bahrain! Where are you Obama? No freedom for them I guess:/
