Dirty Layers Hid Painting’s Penis
A Brazillian restorer has discovered an erect penis hidden beneath layers of dirt. The hiding of the penis was probably intentional and was fairly common in conservative Catholic Spain in the 18th century. It cost them nearly $257,000 to uncover the penis.
