“Clarissa Now” - The “Clarissa Explains It All” Failed Spin-Off Series
Apparently they filmed a “Clarissa Explains It All” spin-off series called “Clarissa Now” about Clarissa Darling (Melissa Joan Hart) moving to NYC to do an internship at a newspaper. They only filmed one episode, but luckily it got released somehow.

Laura Dickinson 2 years agoAlso, we definitely once sent an intern to a Broadway star’s apartment to wait for the Time Warner guy. Intern #1 wouldn’t go because his mother wouldn’t let him sit, alone, in a stranger’s apartment for up to 5 hours. Intern #2, the one who was actually useful and a self-starter had to go instead. Did I mention Intern #1 also would refuse to ride the subway because he didn’t like to go underground? I can’t remember if he would bring me taxi receipts expecting to be reimbursed…but it seems like something he would do (I’m sure his mother told him it would be a good idea.)

—she and the reporter would have become friends/possibly dated
—at least one episode addressing the favoritism being shown to her by the publisher
—a visit from the family, cause we’d have to have an appearance by Ferguson -
