I am a stauch Republican. I think that she should have substantiated her views. If she is against gay marrige say why, just as if you are for them. Form an argument and go at it. The reason a number of christians are against gay marriage (not my view) is because that homosexual behavior is sinful and that gay marriage dooms the couple to the infernal regions as it were. So in essence they don’t want the couple to spend an eternity in hell. So not a popular view but it’s coming from a good place essentially. Why can’t O’Donnell say that? That’s because O’Donnell is a nitwit. Piers was right to push on it. If she can’t get through a softball interview what would she do in the Senate? She’s even had time after the election to hone her skills but hasn’t. Everyone should write her off.
