My number one problem with this is the fact that he is tossing the dog into the ocean. Ocean's have waves, which means that he could've tossed the dog into a wave and the dog could've slammed into the rocks. It's dangerous and foolish. If this was a lake, then it would be different. Don't mess with the ocean.

Have you ever watched dogs play? Because it usually makes this look like cuddling.  Dogs like to play rough. Good lord, in the wild, dogs hunt in packs and run down large game. I've known LOTS of dogs that like this sort of thing. We used to live on a big stream next to a ~8' high bridge, and our dogs would spend hours jumping from the bridge, clambering out, and going back for more.  Or maybe I'm wrong and these animals should live sedentary lifestyles in cramped apartments in the city.

I have pulled my dogs out of rivers by the scruff of the neck many times (stupid mutts keep jumping off high banks into the water then can't get out again). Want to report me to the RSPCA?

Lame. I've thrown kids into the ocean more roughly than that. And dogs get lifted by the nape of their neck for a reason, that's what napes are for. The dog is struggling to get out of the water? Sorry to break up your little righteous pissing match, Buzzfeed, but this dude is doing absolutely NOTHING WRONG! Believe it or not, some dogs like to swim - and even to be thrown in the water! And that being pulled by the scruff of the neck thing - yeah, that's what a scruff of the neck is for! By the looks of these pictures, this guy is just having a nice day at the beach with his dogs. If you're going to demonize someone for bad pet ownership, fine - but this is not the dude.
