for the trolls in this thread who disagree with Rep. Frank I would just like to point out one thing. DADT was repealed, but the laws concering sexual harrasment or “conduct unbecoming a soldier” are still on the book. If one of your stupid worst case scenario fantasies about Gay soldiers trying to …sexually assault non-gay soldiers (which is really insulting to soldiers in general, like they are little girls in a shower instead of trained warriors) those soldiers who committed the crimes can STILL BE PROSECUTED! Relax. This whole thing is just sound & fury signifying nothing.

Barney Frank has no clue. The issue is about a homosexual man or woman showering with the same sex who they may be attracted to. There is a reason on ships in barracks and in the desert that men and women don’t shower and bunk together. It can lead to sexual harassment and in some cases homosexuals are entrapped and beaten. This is not a non issue. The reporter has a point and Barney Frank is a douchebag. Using the local gym (or capital hill? WTF?) as an argument is assinine.
