karona 11 months agoI can see this. how many times have you wandered an old graveyard and wondered about the lives of the people there? a code to lead you to their background could teach you some fascinating things. imagine the Anthropological use in the future when distant grandchildren come looking for info. how many people doing ancestry research do gravestone rubbings? this is a way to preserve MUCH more info. i can see the funeral industry adding this to their services. a page added to their home server that allows for eternal upkeep on the Memorial page. they have to provide eternal lawn care. set it up to allow people to post stories about the departed and for the family to write the memorial they want to write. i can see this as an important addition to the funeral industry.

oprahsweave 11 months agoYears from now, technology will be drastically different and QR codes will be utterly obsolete. The idea behind coded graves is kind of cool, but putting something “trendy” on a child’s grave is offensive at the least.
