I was actually hoping this was real. Unfortunately, on “Anonymous’” website this letter is openly disavowed. So, if anyone say in Siberia or China or wherever wanted, they could probably launch a DDoS attack or whatever against their various public webservers but anyone where the government actually gives a rip (IE, USA and a few others) anyone caught attacking their public-facing servers or anything like that could face severe civil if not criminal charges. And, rest assured, WBCult is more after the money (as the temple money changers they are) than after making criminals of people. But, they’ll take what they can get. How else do you think they can afford all the colorful garb and crayola markers and crayons? And all the slashed tires and brick-shattered windows on their vehicles to be replaced? Yup yup. Lawsuits! They USE the very rights (Freedom to assemble, freedom of speech, etc.) that the very soldiers that died to protect AGAINST those soldiers and their families while they are being laid to rest. So, Let the hypocrites have their say, and if you’re going to do something, rent charter buses every time they have a protest and park said buses in a row between their bigotry and your mourning group.  Just sayin’, though…

Westboro Baptist church has some very colorful, highly imaginative videos that I found quite enjoyable. “Priests rape boys” is priceless! HA ha ha WBC keeps me laughing in stitches! Fred Phelps did a really cool video “Jerry Falwell goes to hell”. PRICELESS!

Dear Phred Phelps and WBC Phriends,
So we’ve been hearing a lot about some letter that we supposedly sent you this morning. Problem is,
we’re a bit groggy and don’t remember sending it. Our best guess is that you heard about us on that
newfangled TV of yours and thought we might be some good money for your little church.
You thought you could play with Anonymous. You observed our rising notoriety and thought you
would exploit our paradigm for your own gain. And then, you thought you could lure some idiots into a
honeypot for more IPs to sue.
This is not so foreign to us; as you may have heard, we trade in Lulz. You just do not have enough to
offer right now.
While Anonymous thanks you for your interest, and would certainly like to take a break and have some
fun with you guys, we have more pressing matters to deal with at the moment.
But, we will keep this application on file, and will certainly contact you if any openings become
available in future.

Additionally, as your “Press Release” failed to understand: When Anonymous says we support free
speech, we mean it. We count Beatrice Hall among our Anonymous forebears: “I disapprove of what

Does anyone else thing the WBC is a cult and should be treated as such?

This has little to do with their beliefs and lots to do with their greed. They get their money from the lawsuits they bring against people who defy them. It goes like this: Many Westboro Baptists are lawyers. They provoke people like us but they always act just within the limits of the law hoping that folks who disagree with them will break the law in some way, for instance by curbing their first amendment rights or threatening them, or slandering/libeling them. Once well-meaning folks like us cross that line, they sue, sue sue us and then generally settle out of court for big sums.

We all know how this ends…

I don’t understand where the WBC gets its money? They have to work someplace and if we all boycott the places they work they will loose their jobs and hence the money to travel to protest. Am I right or not?
