Hey, it was my first season watching AI (and probably my last one)… and honestly Lee DeWyre was garbage. I can’t stand those guys that get on the mic with their I-IV-V power chord progressions and YEARN. You can toss him in the bin with the other 90% of American Idol winners who go on to accomplish very little. That horrendous performance of Beautiful Day on the show before the finale sealed up what I thought about him as a serious musician.
