An Amish themed romance trilogy called Sisters of the Quilt is on the NY Times best seller list. Cindy Woodsmall, the author of the Quilt series, is one of a few authors that specialize in these “bonnet books.” The Quilt trilogy is about a 17-year-old Amish woman coming of age, the tragedy and struggles of the Amish world, and loving a man from… DUN DUN DUN…The Outside. There's also only one kiss in the entire series.
These novels were a nice change! I enjoyed reading about romance and love without having to feel too queasy about all the sex. If you liked these, check out “Unrealized Dreams” by Shelli Armstrong. It's fabulous! http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/unrealized-dreams/12669014
Women who read this novel with hopeful enthusiasm have unrealistic expectations about relationships.
cover girl kinda looks like jordan capri according to some guy i know.
My instinctual question is, what the hell are her lady parts doing during the whole three books. As an adolescent teen girl in her biological prime for reproduction… do the Amish have a magic off switch?
Matt, did you read the entire series looking for kiss scenes? How else would you know there is one one?
