Look - Senator Byrd fell down like a Jenga game today and the Mainstream Media runs a story, making NO MENTION of the fact that he was a Ku Klux Klan Kleagle (recruiter) and then was chosen to be the Exalted Cyclops (President) of his local KKK chapter. No one says a word. But all of them readily swallow whole the enormous liberal media stretch to make Roy Blunt's story about monkeys on a golf course into a racist joke (which it wasn't unless you're an idiot). And the liberals uncritically accept the ridiculous notion that one can't oppose this president without it meaning one is a racist (By the way, every time you do that, you reveal yourself to be just as stupid as the stupidest Tea Partier). The OSI documented the Byrd-KKK facts in a gigantic dossier. But then, you won't read about the OSI in the liberal mainstream media, either!
