I wore a shirt to middle school with a Bud Light logo on the back and had to turn it inside out. I had received the shirt for running a 10K, which Bud Light was one of the sponsors.

I have a thing about the confederate flag. As far as I'm concerned it's losers flag. They lost the war, the war that tore this country apart. And yes people should be offended by it because it does represent maintaining slavery among other things. But I would concede one day a year it could be worn or flown the caveat being the day has to named “racist loser day”. No one wears the union jack to celebrate the brits, that's because they lost. So let's get over this flag that had such a short life anyway.

Especially here in the south I think there should be more tolerance on the Rebel Flag shirts. Here it's considered a redneck thingy, not a KKK thing. Also, the 'Virginity Rocks' shirt shouldn't have been such a problem. If they are teaching abstinence in schools and you haven't had sex yet, what are you? A virgin! That one is just ridiculous.

I think no matter what the shirt says, if your parents are using you as a way to rebel or make political statements, well that's disgusting, kids don't come up with this kind of stuff on their own, they need coward parents who are just looking for a reason to make a big deal to draw attention. The Rule should be if they wouldn't wear it to their job IT DOES NOT MATTER, the point is let kids be kids not walking billboards for your fucking propaganda.

Just wear neutral colors like the ones in a crayon box or a rainbow. No words or pictures to offend or even have to question the meaning. Wear your messages on your own time, not to school.

I can't imagine anyone at my high school being sent home for wearing a rebel flag shirt or camo. In fact, people regularly wore those. Then again, I attended high school in Alabama.

Some of these shirts verge on (or are outright) hate speech.

I can understand some of them but, why can't she wear the abortion shirt? It doesn't show an actual abortion so what is wrong about it? Camo is a “gang thing?” The army is now a gang? When I wear camo to hunt I really flying my gang colors I guess. Virginity rocks is bad because…? I think some of this just goes a bit too far and people in America are just a BIT too sensitive. We need to lighten up before our heads get firmly stuck in our own arses.

For my graduating class, a few people made shirts that said “.08, pushing the limit” and they were asked to put them inside out or they couldn't walk at graduation.

“N the 'N' Word”? What does that even mean? “End” the 'N' Word? Wouldn't that be a good thing? Stupid people are baffling.
