Mitzy 10 months agoThis jibes with THE buzz on the Hill that Romney has several years of tax returns in which he paid NO income taxes despite making an average of $10 million annually. Corollary buzz says that the RNC has asked Romney to either release the records by next Friday or withdraw by that date so that the party has time to caucus for another candidate. McCain is said to have refrained from informing the RNC because he knew Romney was damaged goods and that Romney would lose, thus absolving himself from being the only one who lost to Obama; to wit, controlling the historical narrative. The RNC is livid with McCain but McCain is scorching the earth for what he contends was a lackluster support of his 2008 campaign as well as Michael Steel’s cutting remarks about McCain’s choice of Palin. My source says that the RNC is in real danger of imploding, much the same as the DNC did in the Eagleton affair.
