The Definitive Biased Ranking of the Top 14 Donuts of All Time

I asked my Twitter and Facebook followers to name their favorite varieties of donuts (doughnuts?). These are the top 15 results, ranked according to my personal preference and biases.

14. Plain Cake Donut

I grudgingly include this variety because others voted for them, but I strongly believe that they are false donuts. No flavor, no icing, dry, clumbly. I'd rather eat a stale bran muffin.

13. Chocolate Cake

I'm not a big cake donut fan, in case you can't tell. Chocolate cake donuts get a few points for usually having a meager glaze.
