Correction: They weren't actually in space or zero gravity. They were on an airplane flying on a parabolic (I think) path that simulates zero gravity. These planes are more colloquially called vomit comets. And the “weightlessness” only lasts for about 30 seconds a pop before you fall back to the floor.
