Following the attacks that killed two thirds of his workforce, Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick, whose brother was among those Cantor employees that died, gave this interview to ABC News. Lutnick was not at WTC that morning because he was bringing his son to his first day of kindergarten. Warning: It is not likely possible to watch this video without crying.

A decade later, the company is twice as profitable as it was in 2001 and has grown from just 150 New York-based employees following 9/11 to more than 1500 today - some children of Cantor employees killed on 9/11. The company has also given away $180 million dollars to 9/11 victims’ families.
