President Obama’s Whiteboard Message At Newtown High School

Before addressing the nation from the Newtown High School auditorium on Sunday night, President Obama took a moment to respond to a whiteboard message written by two NHS teachers. posted on

The note reads:

“Dear President Obama,

The Newtown community is so thankful that you are coming to help us heal. In times of adversity it is reassuring to know that we have a strong leader to help us recover.”
