Newtown Children’s Choir Sings Incredibly Moving Rendition Of “Over The Rainbow”

Just one month removed from the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, a really, really cute group of Newtown elementary school music students performed their version of the classic “Over The Rainbow,” along with musician Ingrid Michaelson, this morning on Good Morning America. Earlier this month, the kids recorded the song at the Connecticut home studio of ex-members of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth. That version can be downloaded on iTunes, with proceeds going to benefit Newtown charities.
