Thousands Gather For Michael Brown's Funeral Held In St. Louis

Michael Brown is laid to rest after being shot and killed by police officer Darren Wilson in a St. Louis, Mo. street on Aug. 9.

The funeral for Michael Brown, the 18-year-old teenager who was shot and killed by a police officer earlier this month, was held on Monday, Aug. 25, in St. Louis. Thousands attended, including Reverend Al Sharpton, Reverend Jesse Jackson, and filmmaker Spie Lee. Brown was shot and killed on a Ferguson, Mo., street by Officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9. Brown was unarmed.
