This video is not compelling like previous BF vids of similar subject matter, because for this one it seems like the peeps got together and decided in advance what the outcome would be, rather than there being any genuine discovery or lesson learned.
I don't think Buzzfeed has any editorial standards. People who go vegetarian know what foods they've always enjoyed - but they are trying to do something good by animals or for their health. This "article" doesn't add anything to the discussion and isn't entertaining so it's a fail…Â
I would really love to see Buzzfeed incorporate some skepticism and an awareness of zoochosis when posting viral videos like this. For example, they could seek out the opinions of a couple of recognized animal behavior experts, perhaps someone from World Wildlife Fund or Humane Society…Â
Cute fishies?!? Buzzfeed you have gone too far, I cannot abide.
On the other hand I am a fan of good PR for less popular animal species to promote compassion...so maybe I can get behind this.
