5 StartUps To Look Forward To At SXSWi

SXSWi is a 27 year running tradition that showcases some of the most promising emerging startups. Here we take a look at a few startups we should be really excited for in 2014.

1. MentorMob (That's us!)

The Wikipedia of learning online. MentorMob makes learning any skill or hobby easy with a passionate community that finds and organizes all the best learning content on the web for you.

2. Kiwi Move

A little piece of wearable technology, Kiwi Wearables seems almost too futuristic. If my mom has a hard time figuring out a smartphone, this device would definitely be out of the realm of understanding for many people. However, the execution of the concept is exciting to see. It's no hover boots, but it's definitely pretty cool.

3. Pulse Wallet

Take that Coin. You may be able to put all my credit cards into one, but trust me, I can lose one credit card and my cell phone with ease. Losing my hand though? Not as likely.

4. Travel Macho

Wait, why hasn't Google done this yet? Travel Macho creates travel itineraries that include flight, bus and train options, so you can select which travel method is right for you. It is currently only available for the Northeast United States.

5. Cheek'd

Whether you like it or not, online dating is taking over. Cheek'd connects online dating with actual experiences. You create a profile on the site, purchase cards with instructions to reach that profile and a pick-up line, then give them to whoever you may fancy out and about.
