It would be great if Pepsi did its homework before posting about red tides. Which, when they occur in the ocean (as pictured above), are caused by marine algae, not freshwater algae (although some freshwater algae can cause the same thing, but in freshwater). The specific species of algae IS red, it does not turn the water red. Also, learn how to spell algae.
