zombiehz 2 years agoMan, I’ve been through an ice storm and, at the time, it was anything but beautiful. Everything was dead silent except for the sound of trees cracking and falling to the ground. One of our own trees cracked in half and VERY nearly missed the house. You couldn’t go anywhere because the roads were closed. The power was down, so no heat, no cooking… luckily we had a fireplace and could cook over that, but it barely provided heat. We had to sleep in heavy coats, pile on the blankets and huddle together with the dogs. Anyway, it sucked. The pictures are awesome though.
