Barely payed any attention. I was too busy nostalgia-ing.

This is pretty epic. You guys aren’t listening to the music and connecting it to whats happening in the video. Like the fact that it says “All along the western front. People line up to receive” and it shows a line of water buffallo walking, birds flying, gazelle hopping to Pride Rock. Then theres the part where the baby giraffe is walking out of the shadows with just the base drum playing to reveal glorious Pride Rock. Theres the transition to Mufasa’s wife holding Simba when the song goes “I said ooh girl, shock me like an electric feel”. Then the music stops except for the flute playing as Rafiki is carrying Simba to the edge and the music climaxes as he holds him up and the animals cheer. I thought it was pretty well made.

so by “mashed meant” you just meant “played along side of”

WAIT it works so much better with Gold Mine Gutted by Bright Eyes

it also works really well with “life on mars” by david bowie (mufasa nods with the line “there’s lemons on sale again”) and it would probably go well with the other 30 songs in my itunes that are 3:56

This is the kind of video you make when you’re stoned and then immediately delete from youtube the next day when you watch it while sober.

Yeah. Before you watch it, just know it’s Electric Feel dubbed over the Circle of Life video. There is no mashing involved. Double lame.

Maybe I’m confused on the definition of “mashed”. Cause this just looks like they swapped out the background song. Which would be lame.

I dont understand what matched up. it just seems like Im watching the lion kind and my roomates music is too loud

The one moment that should have lined up (when the monkey holds up young Simba) didn’t match up at all. Come to think of it, almost nothing else did, either.
