I applaud the talent, but this is one trend I've never understood. I like my cake to look and taste like cake, not some other weird savory dish that is not at all cake-like. Perhaps I am in the minority.

This is my problem with food lists on Buzzfeed: “Here's a bunch of cakes. You can't have any of them because this is the Internet and there's no such thing as downloadable cake. Screw you. The end!”

Call me crazy, but I like my cake to look like cake. If your eyes say “meat” and your taste buds say “cake,” it's just creates a weird overall eating experience.
