What about chromosomal anomalies? XXY XXX, XXXX, etc? How about XX with male genitalia? Chromosomal anomalies pared with ambiguous genitalia means intersex, aka in between sexes, though they are not exclusive. There is a big spectrum of ambiguity in the sexes and everyone in that spectrum deserves respect and the CHOICE to choose which gender (or none, or their own) to identify with. Doctors used to chop off girl’s clitoris’s because they were too big and resembled penises. They used to give full hysterectomies to babies who had “passable” looking male genitalia. This law gives babies who are intersexed the ability choose their own gender when they grow up, not as a baby when gender is a complete blank.
