Places In The United States You Need To Visit

These are just a few of my favorite places that I’ve ever visited. Get on a plane or in your car NOW and go see these amazing places right here in our very own backyard!

1. Austin, TX

Austin is full of energy, great bars, and some of the most eclectic people you’ll ever meet.
Things to See:
The bats on Congress. Right at dusk every night, a huge colony of bats emerge from under the bridge.
Rainey Street. Full of fun and interesting bars, Rainey Street has something for everyone.
Barton Springs. This man-made pool stays at a consistent 68 degrees throughout the year. Perfect for those sweltering Austin Summers.
Alamo Draft House. Food, beer and a movie. What more could you ask for?
There’s tons more to do in Austin. That’s why you should visit! Plus, it’s the Live Music Capital of the World!

2. Nashville, Tennessee

If you like live music, there is no shortage of it in Nashville. Music is always flowing out of every bar and street corner. This city truly feels alive at all times.

Go line dancing at Wild Horse Saloon.
Tour the Grand Ole Opry and stay at the Opryland Hotel.
Catch a show at The Ryman Auditorium.

3. Crater Lake National Park, Oregon

No picture will ever do this incredible place any justice. Crater Lake is actually a rain water lake that formed over 7 thousand years ago after the volcano Mount Mazama erupted. You can take boat tours and even go swimming!
Things to See:
Crater Lake Lodge. Grab a blanket and snuggle up outside to witness the most beautiful shooting stars and scenery around. You can even see the entire Milky Way!
Rim Drive. This 5 mile drive takes you all the way around Crater Lake and has many beautiful vista points along the way.

4. Multnomah Falls, Oregon

Witness one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
Things to See:
Hike the falls. It’s not very far at all to get to the bridge you see in the picture. It’s beautiful and scenic and it will take your breath away.
Check out the Multnomah Falls Lodge. You can dine and lounge. The Lodge also hosts banquets and weddings.
Get some homemade fudge. There’s a little cart right next to the History Center and Lodge that has some delectable fudge options for everyone with a sweet tooth.

5. Asheville, North Carolina

If you love culture and art, Asheville is the place for it. It’s tucked away in the mountains of North Carolina and has tons of great restaurants and music venues to check out.
Things to See:
Biltmore Estate. This is something you shouldn’t skip. You just have to see it for yourself.
The Orange Peel. Check out a killer band at one of Asheville’s best live music venues. And check out Wicked Weed right next door for awesome food and craft brews.
Blue Ridge Parkway. Drive along this scenic road to see some of the most beautiful landscape the South has to offer. (PIctured above)

Drive down Highway 1 and experience some of the most breathtaking views you’ll ever see. Big Sur is full of lush nature and beautiful beaches.
Things to See:
