I’m not a big fan of being approached by strangers, especially (as a female) strange men and talking about much of anything, especially my body. Just because I’m tattooed doesn’t mean I’m an extrovert. Just because you can see it doesn’t mean I was specifically showing it to you. Unless we’re in a situation where speaking to each other is encouraging and comfortable, I would rather you stick to hi, how are you, and be on about your business, because I’m busy grocery shopping, walking my dogs, exercising, etc. If we’ve already engaged in conversation I don’t entirely mind these questions, but that’s not how it usually goes.
