8 Most Hyped Films Of Summer 2014

Its summer movie season and you know what that means... Sequels, reboots, and sequels to reboots! 8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Hype Meter: 35%

Perhaps the two biggest complaints (so far) are the "new look" of the Turtles and the casing of Megan Fox as April O'Neil. Consider your childhood ruined.

6. How To Train Your Dragon 2 - Hype Meter 46%

Apparently swooning over the post pubescent look of 'Hiccup' is a thing amongst pre pubescent internet fangirls. After staring into those green cell shaded eyes, I'll give them this one.

5. Guardians Of The Galaxy - Hype Meter 52%

With everything Marvel touching turning to gold, hey why not release a movie about a barely known super hero ensemble comprised of a tree man and talking raccoon? Be prepared to deal with 'Guardians' hipsters telling you whats wrong with the movie.

4. Godzilla - Hype Meter 60%

There are people reading this right now who weren't alive for Godzilla's last big screen outing almost 20 years ago - and that is probably a good thing for them. The latest incarnation actually looks pretty decent but if there is one thing Hollywood can do, its totally mess it all up.

3. X-Men Days Of Future Past - Hype Meter: 85%

Another Wolverine...er...X-men movie comes to the big screen this summer with giant deadly robots time travel elements as the core of its story. Oh how I wish I could time travel back to when a new X-men would make me excited.

2. Transformers Age Of Extinction - Hype Meter: 100%

Transformers is getting a reboot with autonomous robots that mimic their more retro style and starring Marky Mark instead of that Lebeouf kid. Lets see if Michael Bay can redeem himself before totally erasing every last shred your childhood, again, with TMNT later this summer.
