MARSHALL FOX a year agoSo, let me get this straight. She had no housekeepers, shoppers, nannies? She DID have to juggle her finances to figure out ways to get her bills paid, her childrens health taken care of, etc? —There are degrees-of-difficulty involved —even for the “job” of being a “stay-at-home-or-is-it-a-mansion mom.” Giving fretful love and attention to your kin —minus the financial terrors of the world…isn’t even comparable to what Obama’s mom had to deal with. All this ginned-up drama is just to distract from her husband’s awful resonance with female voters.

People forget that the Romney’s did not start their adult life with the money they now have. They were married and started their family well before finishing college. That’s not easy no matter who you are. I’ve never heard anything about a flock of nannies or maids. I always thought we were fighting for women to be treated equally and have choices without strings attached to what those choices may be.
