A pet arctic fox named Archer cracks up in response to laughter and sounds uncannily human.
Kristina Shafer, Archer's owner, wrote on Instagram that when her boyfriend laughs, her 4-year-old fox responds in kind.
Shafer, who lives in Michigan, told ABC News that she adopted Archer from a breeder in Indiana when he was just a cub.
"Arctic foxes are definitely not for everyone since they're not the easiest pet to have, but I did a lot of research and decided they were for me," Schafer said to ABC News.
She added that while foxes take a lot of dedication and training — potty training has not been easy — Archer has been "so worth it."
