Madeleline Williams, Ansel’s “shirt” is body paint. Charming, no?
Ina Garten…she drives me crazy! That dopey laugh, that goofy husband, those gay friends (does she have any straight friends?). Nope. Give me Giada, Ree, Sunny and Trisha all day long and I’ll be happy.
Turn a difficult to open jar upside down and give it a shake. Then, slap the bottom sharply with the palm of your hand to release the pressure inside the jar. It opens with ease every time and you won’t dent the lid in the process.
I can’t remain seated if I should hear “Wipeout” on the oldies station. Best dance song ever!
Watched the opening episode and am still crying and in shock. I loved that kid! I wonder what made him decide to leave the show. It is one of my favorite shows on television and I’m sure the writers will find a way to ‘complete’ the cast again but WOW I did not see this coming.
Grew up in Little Italy in the late ’40s. Rent for a three room front apartment (tub in kitchen, hopper in the hall) was $17 a month - heat included! Same apartment today is well over $1,000 per month…SAME APARTMENT almost 70 years later. Loved every minute of NYC but couldn’t afford it today.
Posh? These are common, every day vocabulary words for most high school students.
Coco looks awesome.
I love my Keurig and my friends always compliment my coffee. You just need to buy the right K-cups. Da noive!
Used to watch her all the time but THAT STUPID LAUGH!!! Is she laughing at me? Because she’s impossibly rich and cooks pretty pedestrian food and I’m watching her? But Chris…Giada is da bomb. Come on…
What’s with this “I just got out of the shower and let my hair air dry on the way to the party” look. I hate it.
All About Eve is my favorite movie of all time. Bette Davis is magnificent and I could watch that movie again and again and never tire of it.
I got Jack…OK I guess. I could watch Leonardo tie his shoes for three hours and be entertained. Best actor of our generation. Loved him from Gilbert Grape.
I will admit to one and all that I loved “Powder”. Don’t know why but I really liked that film. And, hey, don’t hate on Wild Wild West. It was great fun.
I got Battery Park. I grew up in Little Italy, so it’s pretty close.
Who dresses this woman??? She is too short waisted for this gown…and those eyebrows! The top of the gown is beautiful and then it explodes into theater curtains. Geez. And people have the nerve to compare her to Jackie Kennedy? Are they serious?
Buzzfeed is really hating on all aspects of the Olympics. That bear is very cute and the opening ceremonies, while different, were well thought out and executed.
Taylor Swift always looks perfect. On the other hand…can’t sing? show your boobs and maybe no one will notice.
Phil Robertson was set up. You do not ask a Southern man of God a question like that and expect any other response. This is bullshit. Food Network screwed Paula Deen and now A&E is on the same loser bandwagon. Duck Dynasty is wildly popular because whole families can sit and watch it without worry that it will be inappropriate for the children. Kids love the antics of these men and their ladies and sales of Duck Dynasty products are through the roof. Ah, it’s no wonder Phil prefers the woods.
Too much money for poorly made food and terrible service. Good pasta is 0.88 a pound at the supermarket when it is on sale. Add your own homemade or purchased sauce and a meatball or two (which take all of 10 minutes to make) a small salad, bread and a beverage and you’re eating for less than $3. Don’t mind paying for excellent dining - will not go to either of these two restaurants.
Alastair Sim’s A Christmas Carol, The Santa Clause, Miracle on 34th St.
Entertaining Angels….great film.
The Book Thief is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Hands down.
So, let me understand this…you could forget your dead grandmother if you don’t have her inked somewhere on your person? What are you? An idiot?
