“Aussie Barbecue Heroes” Is Impossibly Perfect

    A CHALLENGE CALLED GANGLAMB STYLE?

    Australia, your new obsession has arrived: Aussie Barbecue Heroes just aired its first episode and it is ICONIC.

    Grilling the teams are celeb chef Ben O'Donoghue, BBQ expert Jess Pryles and My Kitchen Rules alum Robert "Tex" Murphy.

    While Tex isn't exactly the most ~authentically Aussie~ person to be sitting on a judging panel, he does give us PERFECT quotes like:

    But Tex isn't the only one with a keen eye for wordplay. Some of the teams on the show include Pam and Andrew:

    Becky and Ricky:

    And literally the best fucking team name in the history of television, Suzanne and Joanne:

    And if you love wordplay, you're going to LOVE the challenges. The three teams in episode one were faced with a seafood challenge Ben announced as:

    But the wordplay don't stop there... the Country Champs got a bit creative with their prawn dish:

    For a "rapid fire challenge" the Prawn Supremacy sure showed off what the teams can do!

    But wait, there's more wordplay. The second challenge of the ep, teams had to serve a lamb dish with two side dishes they called:

    SAY THAT AGAIN?

    And the BBQ Wizards didn't do too baa-dly on the lamb challenge!

    The Shank Brothers seriously brought it out with their "Chillichurri" and BOURBON & MAPLE GLAZED LAMB.
