Tim B. you just proved my point. In your words, “not heavily practiced”, which means that it doesn't happen alot. Any more than once is too much, and it does happen over there, common or not. Secondly, your words, “the women's right movement is suffering under Ahmadinejad”. For you to compare what is happening to them over there to conditions here is ridiculous. The point of what I'm writing is people think it's funny that this guy who, supports the dictator of a terrorist regime, who denies that the holocaust ever took place, is disrepecting an “American” journalist and not answering the question asked of him. It's actually scary that alot of people find this funny and a good thing. By the way, I'm an independent, not a Republican.

I'm here to correct some mistakes that Dan wanted to post about. Genital Mutilation is not heavily practiced in Iran. In fact it is more an African phenomenon. Furthermore, until the first election of Mahmoud, Iran was slowly progressing when it comes to Women's rights. Roughly 60% of all University students in Iran are women. Women vote in Iran and are members of the Government. I'm sorry for Dan's conservative idiot agenda.  The truth is that the women's right movement is suffering under Ahmadinejad and the new attempts of similar minded conservatives. Much like Women suffered under the attempts of Republicans to limit their rights. Such as republicans in Virginia attempting to ban contraception and abortion rights, even for married women!

You think it's funny that a dictator still supports the nutjob in Iran, where female genitals are still cutout to this day, women have no rights and protestors are killed in the streets. And for the one who compared the “holocaust” in Afghanistan by the UN where a few people were killed to 6 million jews being killed, you are without a doubt one of the biggest morons to ever grace the earth. Congratulations. Chavez has a tight stranglehold on Venezuela, owns the companies there and prints his own money. Why don't you go hang out with him like the idiots in Hollywood.
