He’s not doing it for publicity, he’s just a smart ass and he’s saying what’s on his mind. He is one of the only genuine, not polished tv chefs out there, and his taste for food is top notch. Watch his show, you’ll see he eats at roadside stands more than he does 5-star restaurants. Paula Deen seems nice enough and she is probably a decent person, but her recipes are more for the wal-mart crowd than the foodies.
