I'm sure by now you all know Periscope, the awesome live streaming app Twitter bought that stole the show from Meerkat @ SXSW.
It can be a great way to find out what your favorite celebrities are doing in Q&As.
Check out the behind-the-scenes of a cool events,
Or, like everywhere else on the internet, show off your cat.
Ultimately, though, Periscope is a pretty dope way to live for a bit in somebody else's shoes.
I love using Periscope to hear from my favorite people. It's connected to, and owned by, Twitter so whenever someone you like goes live you are alerted to it on the spot. @reggiewatts shows the world all the super cool art shows he goes to. The hilarious @ChelseaVPeretti chimes in to share some funny thoughts & Ellen Degeneres @TheEllenShow is known to show some pretty awesome stuff backstage.
BUT, aside from these portals to Celebrity-Land, Periscope can be a really random place.
FOR EXAMPLE...
In the 10 minutes discovering the random streams on the "Global List", I saw a LOT...
A lot of people last night were watching Game 2 of the NBA Finals and felt that watching it with them over Periscope would be better than on our TVs at home...
This guy recorded some hard working Paramedics at work...
... While the adorable Mallory was learning how to ride her bike!!
This guy drew a snake AND one guy wondered if that was ALL he was doing...
This girl was drawing too!
& The cat helped...

& I don't know if it's safe... But ALOT of people Periscope while DRIVING...

Periscope is active all over the world!
Sometimes you don't know what you're gonna get, especially with all the languages present, which can make it feel like Chat Roulette (ew. remember that?!). But it's still a pretty cool app, though still a bit awkward in its infancy.
Like I still don't know what this was gonna be.... : P
