Frank Guinta Isn't Working For Women

Frank Guinta has voted for and supports legislation that takes the privacy, freedom, and personal choice of woman and gives it to people like him. So who is Frank Guinta working for?

With the ongoing Republican war on women, it is important to remember where our elected officials stand.

Frank Guinta would support the overturning of Roe v. Wade and would ban abortion with no exceptions -- including rape, incest, or when the mother's life is in danger. In other words, if you were raped and as a result became pregnant, Frank Guinta would want the government to force you to give birth to your rapist's child.

Frank Guinta believes life begins at conception, which effectively means that most forms of contraception that women rely on, including the pill, intrauterine contraception, the patch, vaginal rings, and the morning after pill, would be illegal as they may prevent a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.

Frank Guinta voted to defund Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides affordable health care to women. This would cut off access to birth control for many, but would also cut off the funding of other critical care for women, such as cancer screenings and prevention.

Frank Guinta co-sponsored legislation that would allow employers to deny employees access to insurance plans that cover birth control or any other service they had an objection to covering.
