Stephen Colbert Responds To “BuzzFeed Buzzkill” Ben Smith’s Questions About Jon Stewart Coordination

“Get your names right, Bill!” Stephen Colbert opened tonight’s “Colbert Report” with a segment about the easy to get around “non-coordination” rules applying to Super PACs. Specifically, Colbert hit back at BuzzFeed — and editor-in-chief Ben Smith — for questioning the legality of his coordination with Jon Stewart, who took over the Super PAC Colbert created once he announced his possible run for “President of the United States of South Carolina.” Me-ow! posted on

The segment also served as a nice complement to one that aired on “The Daily Show” tonight and also featured Colbert, in-studio with Stewart, “not coordinating.” Click here to watch it.
